  9. He was not drunk at all, and if, he sure was not drunk to a degree that he could forget what happened. It is even the opposite, he was absolutely clear and made a conscious decision. In my opinion, Chinese would not easily beg for food like that.

  12. The people in China are as similar to eachother as are the people from different countries in Europe, i.e. Sicilians similar to Scandinavians, the Dutch to Bulgarians, etc.

It shows the nature of their governance and not only that, but also the mentality of the Chinese society. To me that is a piece of art, like an art installation.

  20. German is guilty completely and in it's entirety for starting an unnecessary and terrible WW2, all only for the weird ideas of a mad dictator. Most Germans - may be the younger people not that much anymore but still most - are thankful to the US for giving the German people still a chance after all the horrible things Germany had done. Most German do not agree with the US foreign politics of the last, lets say 20 years. But we hope that the US can be great again. And we also know that it's not the US who is to blame for every misery in the world, as what China says in blind hate.

I still understand, that some just want to live in peace and care for their family. But what you do is evil. Do you know what is the difference in between you and these Russian soldiers? The Russian soldiers are lied to. They go into another country, fighting people who are normal people just like themselves, believing these are fascist monsters. But you know what you are saying, you know exactly what you are doing. That's a big difference. You are literally one of those who miseducate your young soldiers.

The majority of Europeans think he is mad, and rather are absolutely puzzled how such a man became a president. I live in Guangzhou. But I traveled through China from 1995, almost everywhere except the north-east. I do KNOW that the cultural differences in between Chinese are about the same as in between different European nations. And you know what? It's better.

  27.  @eleethtahgra7182  Europe's "dependency" on the US is far not as tight as Chinese are made to believe. For example, Germany became infamous when chancellor Schroeder voted against the Irak war. The UK called us the sick old man of Europe. France and Germany in particular have declined several times plans of the US. But most of you people keep on looking at the UK, and yes, they are indeed in a much different relationship to the US. Similar, you travel to Los Angles or San Francisco, see the beggars and the drug shxt there, and then say: yep, THE WEST. I am living in Singapore, btw.. It is not long ago when I was living in China, until 2015.

  28.  @eleethtahgra7182  I am not sure what North Stream 2 has to do with it now. But it was - as we know now - the biggest mistake of our previous government. I have to give them that they really meant well with trying to co-operate and get better relationship with Russia through diplomacy and trade. As we know now, one single idiot is enough and the entire planet will be affected. I doubt there will be a normal relationship with Russia for the next decades. Putin can stick together with his close friends Assad, Kim Yong Un, Lukashenko and Xi. In Fujian were some of my main clients, and Shandong. I must have been everywhere, except Hainan, Tibet, Xinjiang and inner Mongolia. I have probably seen more of China than most of Chinese people, from the glittery LED city lights of Shanghai to villages where people live in clay houses. I have been to palaces of filthy rich company owners with several huge factories who have money and power until it stinks, but so stupid and uneducated that I thought I am back to the dark medieval ages. Or one factory owner (whom I visit frequently) who was driving with his V12 over the highways of Guangdong with 180 kph speed. When I asked him what he does if the police catches him, he answered: They know my car. I will say if you punish me I will relocated my factory with 9000 workers to another province. I have seen several times child labour, or cripples on the road who were dragged away by the police, children who were made begging by their parents, 2 separate incidents with people dead, they tried to climb up on the facade of the house I lived with my family and then fell down, I have met several women who had secret husbands and a kid with them, a family with 5 kids, 4 of them illegal and therefore not going to school, another rich family with 3 kids, who just payed a "fine", etc etc. And finally, I have seen that Chinese have not much clue about life only 50 km outside of their own big city where they live. My favourite places where Shaanxi despite the poverty, it is extremely beautiful to me and its people are good. As cities I also liked Xiamen and Qingdao. I worked for a Chinese company, I got along well with my colleagues, my son went to a local school and he loved it, he learned Chinese in shortest time.

  32.  @0Turbox  Sure. Also a scaled down version. The nuts are not the same fresh nutty taster, the chocolate is heaty, and the product has smeary mouthfeel. A sign of not using cocoa butter, but other lousy fats. The thing is it's round with the golden wrapper, a symbol of wealth for them. Symbols play a huge role in Chinese culture.

This would have been a possibility for a positive example: - locate the old man and ask him what happened - an official apologises to him and everyone, and explain this should not have happened - give him a generous food package - thank the people who helped him and make them to a good example for a gracious society - establish an emergency number everyone can contact in case of supply problems The way how they "solved" the issue though is typical for the scrupulous CCP.
