  3. It is all fog and mirrors. In fact nato is becoming stronger. EU approved 800 billions for defense. So it is a split in responsibilities, EU deals with Russia, and US deals with China in Indo-Pacific. Also US tries to break the alliance between China and Russia.

  4.  @maurice3935  Think again. Putin knows that the biggest treat for Russia is not nato (anymore) but China. Because China has the economy, has the people and needs resources. And let's remember history too that will be used as pretext. China makes weapons at a high rate. This is how all begins... Eu that is part of nato did not armed so far. Ring a bell now? Russia needs allies because that new boy in town is growing fast ...

  5.  @maurice3935  The war in Ukraine started by Russia taking money for gas from EU and making weapons. Again, this is how all starts - making weapons. No one pays the price for weapons (in time of peace) without a plan to use them in the future.
