  3.  @officemail689  It is not the same thing. A car must take impact energy as much as possible otherwise the human will take it. That is done via controlled deformations of the car in certain areas.

  5. Hold on — titanium is a ductile metal, not a brittle one. It's actually less brittle than stainless steel. If it were brittle, it wouldn't be suitable for building submersibles.
