  1. Your analysis is relative to the official reasoning of Putin for this war. But real reason is regain control over the all satellite countries that are not in nato. Georgia is controlled, Ukraine and Moldova (thanks to Ukraine) do not. Another reason (side quest for Russia, main quest for China) is to weaken US in Ukraine and middle east. Because war cost money.
