  1. I had to go to parole hearings for my daughter many many years ago and I had to drive hours and hours away to get there and I did it. You’re literally in there for 10 minutes and I had already written a 10 page statement so if she has obligations to get her son to school and she can’t be there but she still writes a statement. It’s the same thing they take it, all into consideration, whether you’re in person or you write a statement
