  1. It's not men that have "certain needs". We need to masturbate and release, and so do women. The thing is that biologically we function differently, and even after that socially culture makes sexuality a taboo and masturbating a "wrong thing", specially for the ladies. Not so much today, thank god, but it used to be this way. We're slowly changing it. In regards to porn, however, is that even if we're very creative and can use our imagination, even the most clever guy will need visual aid support at some point. I'm not really sure how this works or why it is like this, but watching porn is not just about the fantasy. A lot of porn is just "normal" sex, and at some point that experience can be had in real.
