I'd make it so she can sitll walk but by using her own magic. Like amplifying her body. And then at one point in the story she just falls down and can't move her legs. That is a plot twist for the story. What happened? Also as a spectator, you didn't know she was disabled until that point when she reveals her secret to her friends and teammates that also didn't know. YOU COULD DO SO MUCH MORE JUST BY USING YOUR BRAIN.
