  1. People are "outraged" only because gaming industry right now kinda sucks and they wanna showcase some virtue signaling feeling bad for the people that got fired. But if you go around asking, literally most of people will not know which studio made which game. Or maybe they will know one game, but not the others, so on and so forth. As long as you're under the thumb of big corpo, you will have a chance that they change service to a subscription, or that they cut off or stop supporting your expensive product or you'll have a chance of getting fired. I'm not saying they deserve it, I'm saying it happens. That is when making your own company and doing things right secures your livelihood. And to clarify again with an edit, I'm not saying this is easy to do either.
