I remember watching a channel of certain very skilled pole dancer. And during Q&As, one of the questions she got often was: Why do you dress all pink, sparkly, wear wings, fake nails, fake lashes and a lot of makeup? (also adding with why did you get a boob job), to which she replied (general idea) saying that she knew that wasn't "her natural self", but the way that to her own eyes she felt the happiest, fullest and liked it that way.
This means the person was totally conscious about it. If you go out your way to put all those sparkly things and make up, and wigs, and clothes... it means you don't like your "natural self". That means you don't love yourself as you are, but what you make yourself to be. Liking it is totally fine. You do you. But these people telling others about self love, acceptance and inclusivity it just doesn't make sense. It's contradictory.

Just say it Sydney. You want to play Hogwarts Legacy and be a powerful witch! Nothing wrong with that :P
On a more serious note, I stepped back from social media and especially the politics side of things a while ago and it was just eye opening.
Like fun stuff, now steven crowder is on a feud with babylon bee/Daily wire it seems? Also Jordan Peterson non-stop keeps posting right-wing tailored content. It almost feels fake/without any thought. I don't mind the lean, I lean right more than left overall, but one of his things was being the outlier. You would listen to the left, then some on the right and then you would listen to Peterson. And now I can't anymore, I can't take it seriously.
You are one of the few, if not the ONLY ONE that I kept my sub and bell on because your content was always funny yet serious and thought provoking and it wasn't biased for the most part (you do have a freedom/right bias, but when you present the evidence is kinda obvious and you are not closed to listen to GOOD arguments from the other side).
In general you are correct, you get burnt out of it. Every day is something new and everything all the time is a problem. That's why I stuck with certain youtubers. KiraTV (on his main channel) does wonderful recaps of stories that might be of interest. Penguinz0 (Charlie) has a very wacky way and a very extense vocabulary to make 10 minute videos of bs that are just entertaining to watch. Mogul Mail (Ludwig) is just a general good unbiased (for the most part) recap and news of things in different spaces. And the last one, making 1 video a year: Internet Historian. It's just fun entertaining storytelling about stories that you would never really care about. But they make it interesting and fun. I don't know what you're planning to do, but I feel that would be a type of direction that would really suit you. And my best advice, although is very hard, whenever there is something "left like", just say yes, accept it and go back to the main point why you're there.
Best of luck!

You apologize for your normal-looking hair, but not for the cracked phone screen :P
My parents got divorced since I was 2 years old. It's so fucking stupid how parents don't give 2 shits about their children in reality, they just care about winning that 'argument' and prove who's the "best most caring parent" even if during all of that hassle they show the entire opposite. There's also plenty of moms who, for different reasons, decide to exclude the parent from the child's life or their life entirely. My best friend has done this. In general I think is wrong, but in this situation her ex (and child's father) is a psycho. So depending on the situation it's understandable (she even has a legal restriction doc. she carries with her, but we all know paper can't defend you in a bad situation).
In general I think child support is ok. Not the system, the idea. We know 'accidents happen' but majority of people do accidents on purpose due to negligence. This is sort of a way to punish the lack of responsibility, generally speaking. Of course lots of tricky situation show up. In my opinion they should set a standard of earnings (min. threshold) to make someone pay for a child (or children). Because if someone has a low income, and you take away some of that, that person is going to have less and the other person is not going to have enough, so it's stupid for everybody. Then, check (not control) from time to time or if the child custodian party asks them to, if the parent who has to pay CS actually lives the way they say they earn the money. You know, to avoid document tampering or whatever. And then last but not least, they should make it MANDATORY for the custodian parent to have, every month, a public (between parties and maybe the entity regulating all this) showing of money extraction from account and the expenses.
Parents can agree or disagree some things are good or bad for the kids, but if you're divorced or separated and paying child support, as long as the expenses are for the child (or children) it should be good. Now, this should be looked into as well. If children have trouble going to school or eating or whatever, buying an expensive pair of shoes is not needed. People are shit man.

My care cup is also empty from care. Filled with no, not beer, fernet (pronounced fer-net). Yours will too if you ever know what that is. With coke! I mean Coca-Cola... not powder. Just because I'm South American doesn't mean I'm into that. I'm not Colombian.
And at this point I don't care anymore at all. You can't reason with these people. Other people you could reason with sometimes get sucked into it and start believing it too (which they then cut family and friendship ties, some even get divorced and whatnot). If you're white (caucasian, you don't even have to be "white" as in son of 2 irish green eyed parents - I stayed inside for years losing my natural tan and now I'm part of the supremacists group 🤡 ) because you're white, if you're a man becuase you're a man. If you're a woman and you aren't selling pictures of your crotch for your own "empowerment" nor supporting the BLM/Feminist movement, you're horrible too. Give me a break.
Like it's funny to me thinking of saying "I love being a white supremacist" just to watch them go insane and you just lean back, grab the blanket and drink while watch it unfold. Specially to give them a true reason (even if you aren't one and don't believe in it) for calling you these things.
The solution is simple. Ignore it. Teach your kids to think straight and act and pretend to get over with school. If you are surrounded by these people, just say hello, goodbye and that's it. If you have people around you that know that you're you know, normal and don't wanna fuck with anyone, they'll stand up for you. Any color, any class, any religion. I've met people of all backgrounds and stories and sometimes, poor people are the most based ever. They just wanna do their thing, don't fuck around, etc. Like they're not fools as they're portrayed to be. They are very wide awake. They won't stop pushing these narratives, so just let them be. Only defend yourself when it's needed. But that's how you maintain your side. You talk to people that are sane or willing to be honest about things (even if you disagree with them!), and then you teach your little siblings or children how things are and why they are that way, so they know they're being fed bs and that's it.

I don't think it's necessary, just like it wasn't necessary to have tiktok, BUT it would be great for me if you'd use the e-mail as a type of newsletter for a rundown of events that may not need an entire video on themselves or in case you go on a break.
Also perhaps describe to us what led you to acquire such a gigantic mug? Like I am pretty sure it's new, wasn't used in previous videos.
You can also tell us all about shooty sticks and stuff without getting demonetized or cancelled... I think. Hope so.
Glad to have you back, I hope you're doing better. And I know it's hard to watch what's happening to your home, but always remember there are worse places, like South America. You're welcome any time though, we've got good coffee and food. Well, if you can acquire the food. But it's good!
PS: I don't want to defend this shit ass social network, or the Chinese, but I always like to be fair. And TO BE FAIR, DeFranco's wife on the podcast they did together said she barely got any teens, thots or stupid tiktok on the explore part, because like the algorithm for her got fed gardening and other stuff so it knew what to give to her. From that she learnt a lot of gardening tricks and such.
Like on Instagram if you follow certain things, you get "related" things, but not always useful. I feel tiktok has the upper hand in this, under the sea of dumb idiots showing their ass and doing cringe worthy dancing videos, just not in a pineapple.

Yeah, I watch you because I do find your videos funny, while also being informative and your own opinions, when they're serious are actually interesting and they don't completely invalidate the other side's pov even if you don't agree with it. Like this is not Sydney from Twitter haha. And I respect Elijah for everything he does, a lot of balls to be on-site reporting all that shit however, after following him and others and getting into their Telegram channels, etc, etc I found myself in very enclosed groups that ended up just basically praising the creator and their ideas (that's fine I guess, I mean you are following a person because in theory you like how they think) and bashing the other side and just dissenting with a lot of stuff. So I took a step back and deleted most of my social media, lol.
If you're not going to stop uploading here, I don't think I will be listening to the show (also because you are one of the many videos that don't last 5 minutes that I like to watch and there's just literally not enough time in life even if you don't do anything other than watch videos).
It just feels at a certain point it's a never ending battle of who is more "based" or whos ideals are more "correct" over the other, with no actual progression towards a common better goal and it's just exhausting. Meanwhile all the common people, regardless of their side suffer through all that. Lauren Southern (just an example) has been doing a couple of videos of this sort where she takes a step back and tries to reflect on her past actions and doings as well as her actual views and it does feel much more mature bringing up deeper points about the issues. I don't know if it's right or wrong, it's just interesting and kind of a step forward from the endless fights of "conservatives this" and "libtards that".
Maybe you need to "stay on top" for work, but I would encourage you to quit social media or just use it for promotion of your work. Don't get me wrong, I'm not completely defending or justifying these people. If you showed me that tiktok to me and asked me what I thought, I'd look you straight into your eyes and say "Yeah, that person is a retard. Also your hair looks nice. Wavy, like Australia." I would agree with you on what the fuck are they uploading and how insane their logic is. But when you take a step back and think of them as people (I know, I am completely insane) you start thinking about their rights and whatever is bothering or hurting them. And do they deserve to be chained and put in jail so we can prevent them to spread more and more socialist and communist ideas? Because we know those ideas are bad and they just don't fucking work, but at some point we have to ask what else can and WILL we do? And at what point that becomes dangerous regardless of sides. Like it's happened to me that I cannot enjoy someone's insane talent at painting or singing or whatever because I know they're like pro public schools and let the governments run their lives. It interferes with the enjoyment of daily little things that would make our days better in general if we're not always caught up in this loop of upping the ante against each other. I don't know if it makes sense. Am I insane? At this point I also don't know anymore, lol.
And if you read up to this point, thank you. I am still subbed to your e-mail list that you never use, as far as I know! So I'm sure you'll let us know maybe? perhaps? if you get off'd from YT. I also don't know if you have time, but maybe you could do shorter videos, like 10 minutes but those where you can say the things you want and put them in oddissey or rumble? Sorry for the wall of text.
Oh and I almost forgot, I also watch you for the ads. You make amazing ads.

Here's the thing, it's the thing that gets the most attention, but doesn't truly comprise the biggest % of the platform.
It was in Just Chatting category, but it has been moved to its own category now and it has like 20k to 60k viewers tops, maybe. In a platform watched by millions, that is not a big number.
Also, what's the problem? No one is forcing anybody to do anything. Girls in skimpy clothes lick ear mics, men and women pay to sub to it.
I understand the underlying "trickery" and the whole cosmic-space-what is my purpose in this world thinking about these things and how they affect society and on an individual level and how it affects negatively men's and women's position and...
Honestly, I was thinking about this the other day and thought "Am I out of touch? No! It's the kids who are wrong!". But then thought that maybe, I actually DO put a lot of thought into things that are so ridiculously stupid that you have to let them be and they will be gone at some point.
My core take would be this: A lot of people are really worried all the time about girls whoring around and men being "trapped" or paying for all these things. But go outside for a couple of hours, people are still people. They are still shopping at the mall, buying bread or make up or underwear, etc.
Like 20 years ago, you didn't know who was ordering porn VHS, just like now you really don't know who is paying for a subscription to this shit. And you shouldn't, there's no need really. Once you do, you can't filter that out and see the person as the same. Some might care more, some less but overall it's something you know about the person. Out there, there's a plethora of other people like you, like me who don't give 2 crabs about what the hell these girls do for their living and we just care about a lot of other stuff instead.
It feels like sometimes we put too much thought into stuff like this when we should "live and let live" instead and not separate each other.
An "ASMR skimpy streamer" on Twitch is nothing for any of us to worry about. It is not say, someone legislating something or teaching your kids to be drag queens at school. It's 2 very different things.

I know this is an important matter right now but...
Are we not going to talk about those pony tails?
Also, I'm South American, so it doesn't matter since I can't vote but I do think Trump is going to win again because of a "silent majority" and I also HOPE he wins.
That said, I am reserved about the man's character. Watching his rallies... I love it. It's A FANTASTIC SHOW. But that's when I realize he's a showman. He does not have the poise to be president (2nd debate Trump version was SO GOOD. And the last town hall... that's the man that should be all the time!). Again, this is my opinion, you could or could not care and that is fine. Also, from the "debates", I haven't heard him nor Pence give in-depth specification about healthcare plan and they did not touch DACA once. This goes beyond whether you agree or not with the policies or like or not the current systems. It's to show a candidate should give solid background and explanation for their future plans. All the rest, I agree with Donaldo. And again, as a South American, the left is the same everywhere. So I don't even need him to tell me the dems are going to fuck the country up. It's already happening and hey, corrup socialist politicians have fucked up the southern part of the continent already.
Even then Kamala is crazy and seems a bit stupid with the last "equality vs equity" video she posted. Pelosi, Cuomo... smh and poor Joe, like ACTUALLY THE POOR OLD MAN, he can't connect 2 thoughts.
If Trump wins, the left is going to put all their resources to overthrow him. That's how I feel. The problem and the great thing about USA, the best country in the world, is that you have balls and guns, unlike the rest of us who have been stripped from any form of self defense thanks to human rights and all that shit. So brace yourselves for a fight.
Another problem that is not minor that I see is that progressive radicals are on the left. But dumbass (sometimes poor or uneducated) rednecks are on the other side too. Neither of these groups provide actual productive results to calm down the civil unrest and/or try to actually solve the potential problems that exist, tackling them from the corresponding POVs.
And I called this on Twitter earlier today, Biden is going to be thrown like a piece of used cloth after 2 months of the election if he wins and Kamala will be in power. 25th amendment is the same for us and I would assume similar or same for any other western country with a P and VP.
And last but not least, I say this. Whatever you think of masks, that's something stupid. Like if I your dad makes you wear pants, you wear them and that it's. Suck it up. I know it's not the same and this is the government, etc. but if there's a mandate of something so simple for health and you're complaining, you are being dumb. There are much worse, and trust me, much worse things than having to wear a mask, like destroying your entire economy and in 20 years your kids will be suffering it. When you look at real issues a dumbass mask mandate is something you shouldn't care about.

Just to spark discussion about it and for people to hate me, because they will (not to support child molest... MINERS), I think the point that some of these people are trying to make, is that having a thought does not turn you into A [insert here].
You said it yourself in the video, "the chair". Does that make you a psychopath? A mass murderer? I've thought about stealing a couple of million dollars, help out my mom and then take off. Does that make me a thief?. Because you haven't actually killed or electrocuted anyone (I'D LIKE TO BELIEVE... SYDNEY!?) and I haven't actually stolen any money (clearly, otherwise the Sydney Watson Press Studio would be a thing already). This is one of the arguments in favor of digital/VR porn (as well as all those new robo dolls that are coming out) where some say that these people would get into that and it would be some safety net for you know... real children. I personally do not entirely agree with the argument, due to the way addictions work (meaning, they will jack off with a vr video a week and then later on they might "need" to get the real thing), but I can see the PLAYGROUND where it stands. (Is this too much, too soon? I'm sorry).
I of course, like any other normal person, completely disagree with any type of DEFENSE towards people who molest, kidnap, beat up, mistreat or rape children. You don't mess with children. You touch a kid, I cut you with a sword. BUT just like any other type of crime or thing that was deemed bad is always good to also understand how it generates or where does it come from, to try and prevent it in the future. It's not about patting them in the back for not committing a crime. If you think of it as an addiction, is saying "hey, it's nice you didn't use today. Let's see for tomorrow". And if it has already happened what are you going to do, fill the prisons with these people for life sentences? They don't even give life for murder. What if it gets adjusted and with all the shit today someone innocent goes to prison for like 20 years for something they didn't do. (The movie Jagten - aka The Hunt showcases this very well, about the social condemn). Sadly it feels like a lose lose situation because any solution is not ideal. That said, I'd always go for the least ideal solution that has the best positive outcome for the kids. If that means that I'd end up in jail and die there, so be it.

I'm sorry for your loss and thank you for your service. The true heroine.
I thought I knew what I was getting into, but holy fucking shit I did NOT know what I was getting into.
Generally I'm pretty lax when it comes to "judging" stuff from people and whatever. I just don't give a fuck, you know? But this one isn't even a doubt. It's a straight up big ass NOPE from start to finish.
Edit: I think the "pedophilia vs pederasty" thought, comes not from the place of normalizing sexualizing children or whatever, but the fact that he was getting technical with it.
Of course, IN CONTEXT, all of us sane people wouldn't really care about technicism, but it is important to note that just in case the law needs it (we know how the law loves technicisms and wording).
If a "serial killer" fantasizes about mass murder, but never comits it, unless they tell you, you would never know they think about that. Like, they are not really a serial killer. One could argue YOU are one, for saying, repeatedly in this video "to the electric chair!". But we know you're not a killer. You know what I mean? I think that one was a little bit taken out of context/too literal from your part and a great example of this is in the video itself, the clip before that saying they are hot is ????????????.
Now I'm not saying it's "ok" to have any business with children other than raising them (and all of what that entails). But I don't know if you can choose what things attract you sexually or if they just happen, I guess it's a bit of both and it also has to do with your own childhood and other stuff. Let's say you are attracted more to black men than others. That is not something you really "choose" and it's not right nor wrong. OF COURSE that is not having children in the middle, but what I'm saying is I don't think people choose to have paraphilias (zoo, necro, pedo). In my opinion, that guy made an important distinction to note not in the sense that "being a pedophile is ok but a pederast isn't", but in the sense of a pedophile might have not done anything yet, so it'd be really important to keep a close eye on them, where as the pederast is an actual perpetrator.
Idk if I made sense but I think I did, at least on the surface. All in all, putting all that aside, even the thought of a kid doing anything sexual is so uncomfortable to me. And I'm pretty low on my limits and the things that really disturb me. So in general, stay away from children and Netflix and others should fucking stop.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [End of simple comment; long excerpt coming]--------------------------------------------
I don't know if people will agree with this or not and I just wanna put it in case anyone wants to read and to take it off my head, but I'm in film school and I was thinking how we, as artists or content creators (or communicators), explore stuff. And all this regarding Cuties and TikTok stuff, I started thinking about Instagram and then other movies too. Like this 14 years old on TikTok is overweight. Now I know, fat shame bla bla. But generally speaking, you can see she's overweight. Not by much, but some and like whether or not she likes it is also a thing. Maybe she stays that way forever and it's ok, it's on the healthy side. But maybe not. And having 1.4M followers or whatever does NOT give the impression that she's "ugly" or "overweight". I guess most of those people are thinking "she's thicc"? Also probably most not knowing she's 14 bc of the way she acts and what she shows? I know this happened some years ago with Billie Eilish when she was like 15 or something. Maybe it's just me, but I would think that letting this 14 year old know about weight issues (responsibly, not to make her obsessed or depressed about it) would be a priority for her own sake and health? But instead she's out and about doing all this.
And when it comes to movies, now with all this Cuties thing I started thinking about it and I found myself really bothered by the fact that it's really hard, or almost impossible to actually draw the line, without personal bias/values/beliefs, between "it's art" or "I'm just portraying a controversial topic to make it visible and talk about it" vs "this is literally how I feel and I'm telling you about it in the open".
Think about "A Serbian film" or "Irreversible". ASF has an ending scene where the father is penetrating his dead son. And Irreversible has an 8 minute raping scene. Think about those metal songs that say stuff like "you lay there in the coffin in my backyard, and later on I'm ejaculating inside your empty skull". It's like what the fuck? Is it actually for a bigger "punch" or "more drama" or is it something that you truly feel about it and are expressing it?
Same with hentai (anime pornography) and those tentacle demons raping the elven girls. I know it sounds a bit ridiculous, but whether it's fantasy or not, fake and a drawing, it IS an idea and it's expressed.
And on another example that isn't as dark. Think about American History X. It's a great movie imo. But think about that face on the curb scene. You can literally hear the teeth being placed against the curb, to which later on Edward Norton kicks his head in. It's a really hard to watch and powerful scene. I am sure some racist fuck out there saw that and felt a lot of joy in it.
And even in this video, we all know Sydney and understand it's "a joke" (maybe, idk xD) but she does say "Bring back the electric chair". And a lot of people could have issues with that as well.
I guess what I'm trying to point out is how do we ACTUALLY draw an objective sane and positive line for things, without at the same time controlling what we make as content. And sure, this Cuties one is quite literal. You have 11 year old kids being sexualized on screen. It has no debate, at least to me. However, it raises the question: Are other ideas that are on that same spectrum of "twisted/dark" OK to be out there because it only has the consentment of people who are "legal"?.
If you think about it, if you're 26 like me or older, you'd think and rememebr that at 18, you were PRETTY FUCKING DUMB. We all were and are. 18 is not THAT much different than 16, generally speaking, and not much different than 20 (or 21 for those silly countries like US :P). Of course it depends on the person, how they were raised and how they decided to spend their time or what to learn. There ARE 16-18 year olds that are super smart, keen, and won't be fooled or get themselves into really stupid situations. But we're wouldn't debate these topics for them, we would do it for the other ones that either get put into those situations or put themselves out of ignorance/not knowing better, right?
So my thought is, at what point can we say something is ok or it isn't? The argument could be that is made for "Visibility" or whatever, and since they are all 18+ y/o consenting, it SHOULD mean they "understand" the implications of what they are doing. And it'd be a stupidly valid argument.
The kids one is too obvious so I leave it aside. Also, there's a beautiful Korean movie called "Hope" (or "Wish", depends) where it touches on a little girl being raped, but from a whole different point of view. It makes the topic visible and how horrible it is, without making the subject something sexual. So YOU CAN showcase "hard to talk about" things in a very subtle manner or in a curated form that is not disgusting to watch and still leaves you thinking about it. But generally speaking, it looks like we do need some much more established guidelines for content creation and I hate to say it, but wouldn't that be cancel culture? Lol.
Or do we leave it as is, and we appeal to the majority of people's good common sense and that if something is made in an ugly way they wouldn't like it?. The thing with that is majority of people aren't the ones who are like this or watch these things with joy, or are they? I don't know. Maybe they are.
The end, thanks for comming to my TEddy talk.

Speaking of TED talks, there are two that I think could go hand in hand for people to learn and (somewhat) move past traumatic situations they've been in:
- The guy who went to KKK rallies
- How to fix a broken heart
Often times, as humans and our need to "lable" things as well as categorize, will group good and bad things accordingly to their own features, traits, elements, etc. This is variable, depending on each person's ability to be patient, tolerant and curious enough to know about each thing without stereotyping and grouping everyone all the time.
So things happen like a BLACK MAN, dressed in a certain way robs you on the street, now, next black guy you see dressed like that you're going to assume. Some people take that to an extreme point, understandably, and shut themselves to the idea or option that this other person may look the same but may be completely different. So a woman having a really bad situation or several (it can happen) will make her go with the idea that men are shit and they are all wife beaters. Same with a guy having his gf cheat on him or having several bad situations with women, could end up saying they're all hoes and he doesn't care about serious anymore.
