  1. Louis, what are the steps I should follow to START getting acquainted with repair laws and such in my own country? (and province and city). Where should I look or what should I look for? I thought of starting with reading the "customer's defense law" and go from there. But maybe you could also give some points. I am interested in seeing what we have in place and whether or not it's sanctioned or executed correctly and how we can change that. Now, our president is in talks with Elon Musk, Zuckerberg, etc. and I understand it... we need investment into the country to get back up and improve our economy. That kinda sends shivers down my spine because they will trick people into "the future" without them realizing they are slowly getting fucked to their own face. So I'd like to be knowledgable enough to see if I can find a balance. Or at least tight down the laws 2, 4+ years from now after the country improves (if it does). I also believe that RTR is CRUCIAL for regions like ours, we don't have money to buy an S24 every year. In fact (can't show proof, this is a hunch) since we always get the products "late" and people can't usually buy new, say if your screen broke... I don't think they use official repairs (if any). They always use stores (that do everything, sell and repair). So in that sense, if that is true, I feel if we keep repairing stuff and the manufacturer decides to prevent us from getting the parts as you've mentioned before... we'll be fucked. So I feel it's very important to put things in place to prevent this. Edit: Also, if you're reading this, we have a lot of theft and robberies here. What do you do or how can you tell a device is stolen? Do you care about this or not, do you do something about it? I'm asking in regards to the "no data, you can leave a fake name if you want". How'd you tackle this?
