It's been a long time I stopped watching Marques. Great guy it seems and literally built his channel from the ground up. My respects to him for that. But I always thought "Dude, you can talk to the CEO of [Insert here] and you're not going to press them on [insert anything here]? And now I realize he CAN SPEAK TO THEM because he doesn't. Like I understand he never wanted to marry or critique any brand in particular, so he usually highlights all the good and bad in the "nicest way" possible. But my god it annoys me so much he doesn't simply outright say "Apple stop being a pos for this, put in some ports". I also want to extend a branch to him with understanding... he knows a lot. But whenever you actually know technical stuff, you realize he doesn't truly know THAT much. Like I know nothing about repairs or boards or phones, but do have some understanding on PC parts. And you can tell he's no PC reviewer. He's an "Apple Tech channel" as in for the masses that looks really pretty and it's digestible. Which is OK too! But he does not have the gall or knowledge it seems to call out the companies with strong arguments and push them to do better stuff.
