"Nicer" people are the ones signing "yes ok!" to these politicians all the time and then cry wolf when someone even dares to snap at them at the egregious complaints they make themselves when something goes south. I wonder what type of bizz you might've been stepping into for him to be so adamant about it. I bet some of the big corpos commanded him to oppose it no matter what and there's not an inch that will budge.
