  1. I love using Edge and getting the maximum quality of the overpriced shit service that is Netflix and the convenience of getting all my data stolen and sold. What are they going to find? That you make "edgy" jokes and are planning on a massive swingers orgy? Who cares. I don't think you're overreacting, just reacting. It's aligned with who you are and I am really glad your GF follows you down this path! It's awesome. I understand and totally agree with the sentiment. Unless you're a cheap bastard and/or have bad intentions, piracy is totally justified in my eyes considering everything. I pirate games and movies all the time. And buy some games whenever I can which now, going back to dollars, will make it quite hard. But like I said above, I like conevenience. And I don't truly understand the privacy fight. In the Linuxsphere a lot of people love quoting Snowden and I never really got it. I feel if you care so much about privacy, you have something to hide. Rather than "have nothing to say" like he says. And looking at how the world is run, I got tired of fighting the fight to fight the fight (if you use Linux and FOSS you'll understand what I mean). I'd rather spend that time and energy on cultivating relationships with friends or just enjoying the things I like. And I will fight and be up in arms when the time comes if it comes, but until then, just pop open a cold one. I mean, ironically, we're watching this on YouTube, of which I do have premium since I can't really donate to all the creators (like you) that I think deserve the support. And a lot of people use Firefox, which is from Mozilla, the people that get like 500M from Google. And they don't open source everything, the engine is closed. So at the end of the day is just smoke and mirrors.
