Ok, so if I understand correctly after watching this video after I started it and then went to take a nap: - Linux isn't that bad, but it has some complications - Factorio ex-modder now turned into official BASED dev is BASED and uses Linux themselves and CARE and are willing to put in the work to port things to the OS and deal with certain complications - GNOME devs have marble as brains and love going against the entire community for whatever reason It's funny, this video is about porting software to Linux and yet I see it as the absolute reason to nuke Gnome forever. I've always liked KDE and yet I knew Gnome was beloved and used by many, so I thought I wouldn't want them to take KDE out, so I wouldn't take Gnome out myself.
