  1. My gripe is that if you use something like Debian, you're behind with the packages (not that much now with Deb12 but still) and you'll have to get into the testing branch and probably tinker with stuff. If you get on Arch, you'll have to tinker with stuff. When you wanna "do stuff" in general in Linux, you will never not tamper or tinker with things. And it's not even the one time that you spend 6 hours setting up everything and then forget. I've been searching about noise cancellation software for my work and see if I try Linux again. But it wasn't clear to me that anything was going to work easily or without a lot of hassle. Being on Windows I just tried out Krisp and SoliCall. I hated that Krisp forced me to share my contacts and calendar (which is why I just signed up through google so it doesn't matter) but I mean... you're already on Windows so whatever. And SteelSeries' Sonar was I believe messing up my audio on Discord voice channels. It took me maybe about 20 minutes between downloads, mild research and restarting the computer just in case. Rarely I ever did anything in Linux that was that easy or "hassle free". This thing and still about some games is what is keeping me. It's ALMOST there. But not yet! Fun fact: I got to know Linux and tried out Ubuntu first thanks to Sheldon saying it in TBBT :D PS: Whenever I am able to buy a notebook or something I will definitely install Linux on it. Mint or something "basic" like that for some on-the go office work and web browsing without any worries. But for a main PC with a lot of different tasks, I'm not ready yet.
