  1. Isn't Google giving Mozilla 500M annually? And keeping Firefox as scapegoat of not being a "monopoly" even though Chrome doesn't hold the highest share "alone" anymore. Sorry, just woke up. Sidetracked here. What I meant by this is, I doubt Google wants Firefox to disappear otherwise they'd just stop paying them. Also this was clearly NOT an artificial slowdown. Maybe it could have, but if you remember, and I do because I used it (lol), Legacy Edge REALLY had a slowdown in comparison to Chromium/Chrome browsers. This 1 second pause before the WHOLE PAGE instantly loading is clearly something else. Addition: I've had zero issues using Edge BUT I do have premium. I am also NOT from NA/EU. And regional selection for tomfoolery is not something YouTube hasn't done in the past. I'd like to see a quick research on "if you had this issue, do you have premium" to check if Premium "enables faster code". (quotes and nuance is important here, please don't think that I think you SHOULD or is good to have to pay for better page loads).
