  2.  @TheArmourersBench  JMB had a mind for firearms that outstrips nearly every other firearm designer. I love all the work that Mauser put into refining and developing bolt action guns. I am intrigued by early MG designs. But JMB had his hands in EVERYTHING. Pistols? So many variants. Not to mention his short recoil is the defacto standard for everyone today. Pistols are/were also (don't know if it counts today) called Brownings in Europe. Machine Guns, there's gas/recoil/potato diggers/auto rifles/LMG/MMG/HMG. Firearms of the old west? Yeah, he pretty much made all of them. Shotguns? Yeah, he developed those as well. Much less
