@TheArmourersBench My guess is long term platform maintenance are the jobs being trained in the USA. Those are much more involved training lengths than basic fire and maneuver.

@TheArmourersBench Also, from any footage I've seen, USA training is all technical school in nature. Very little ground combat training. The UK/Poland and other European allies seem to be focused on that sort of stuff. Also, what some people forget about raw numbers, the actual length of technical school needed. A basic tank mechanic is 23 weeks. Granted you can shave off basic (if they received that elsewhere) - but you're still looking at 13 weeks. And that's for a basic mechanic. If you're "Integrated Family Of Test Equipment (IFTE) Operator/Maintainer" - that's 34 weeks, without basic. Those are the sorts of training you'll need for more advanced instructors and equipment.
