  1. Disagree, EVS are not the future. They work alright in packed urban centers perhaps but on the countryside they are useless. Besides if the powergrid goes down everything stops not very convenient. Also the price point is just ridiculous, it’s a good option for wealthy environmentalists I guess. Yes China makes evs a lot cheaper but the result is they don’t pass eu and us safety standards.

  2. There is no market in the west for Chinese cars as the safety standards are too high. Only option is emerging markets with less safety standards

  3. I am also a Swede, grew up in Stockholm. I can understand why a lot of my fellow Swedes living in urban centres are of the opinion cars are not needed. It’s always a shock for them when they visit the countryside or live abroad for a while. It’s hard to imagine a place without subways or bus stations when you grow up with a cushioned lifestyle in an urban centre in the west.

  4. There is no need to, how many Chinese car brands are on the market in the Uk/us/northern Eu? 0. Why? They cannot pass the safety standards.
