Yes unfortunately... the thing I learned in China is that friendship ends when there is money involved, people are usually great and very nice to you but as soon as you do business together they will find any way they can to screw you over if they can earn money. They even do it to each other. The first thing my Chinese parents in law asked me when they met me was what my salary was. It is aaaall about money over there, it is their religion.

The sad thing is I have many Chinese friends that studied Chinese traditional medicine, they all told me you want to go to the best place to learn the art of Traditional Chinese medicine you go to Japan or Taiwan. That's just sad.

@loveblindhate9318 You do know their premier, Li Ke Qiang said 600 million people in China live with a monthly income that's barely barely 1,000 yuan ($154) per month. I mean yeah they lifted people out of poverty but you gotta realize their "poverty limit" is a lot lower than the rest of the world. It always amazes me that people don't realize they are just juking the numbers. Cut the poverty line by half in US and now you suddenly lifted millions out of poverty, well look at that. Yeah it doesn''t work like that.

60 years? Did you forget their invasion of Vietnam or their clashes with India?

@Wushibuxiaobaibu Well for Chinese standards Anhui is about middle when comparing provinces and wealth, it's not poor it is not rich. By western standards of course you can say they are poor but from a Chinese perspective they are about in the middle of all their provinces ranked on GDP/Capita. Average salary will be around 2500-4000 RMB depending where in Anhui you live which may sound like it is not a lot but in some places in China the average is 1500....

It's all about the $$$ that's why they put up with it.

@AliBubba. Maybe he did, in a video about American corruption. This video is about China though so why would he talk about America?

I can confirm his story about the baby powder, I was there when it happened it was a big thing in China. None of them buy Chinese milk powder or any baby food for that matter since, my Chinese wife would even order diapers from abroad lol. She loves her country but would never ever dare to feed our child with Chinese baby products. If you can poison baby food to make a quick buck then there is not much else you would not do for money.

The baby powder thing is true, was there when it happened it was a big scandal. Chinese people do not buy Chinese baby formula, my Chinese wife won't even buy Chinese diapers. It's a little bit odd on one hand they are very nationalistic, on the other hand as soon as they get rich they only buy foreign brands, send their kids overseas to uni and get food from abroad. As soon as they get rich it's a Benz or BMW, apartment in Canada and America. They even travel to America to give birth so they can open bankaccounts in their childs name to transfer money out of the country. That is how much trust they have to their society.

Clearly not otherwise why would they be in China doing business? Of course they know but they cannot refuse the $$$.

To be fair my experience has been pretty good until it came to business, don't mind China people are nice but I would not do business with them. Friendship ends when it comes to money over there.

@loveblindhate9318 I am pretty sure if said country is ran by a party calling itself the communist party and does not allow any other parties to run and run their country based on Marx or in China's case Maoist ideology then that is communism. Let's not mince words, it's like saying America is not true capitalism so we cannot call it a capitalist society.

Well it sure isn't now, everything going downhill, even Chinese companies are moving factories to Vietnam house prices crashing. In a country where 90%+ own a house it's devestating.

Unfortunately that is normal, cheating is rampant. Used to teach in China and the kids would openly cheat during exams, you would have a listening test and some kid would casually ask his classmate what the answer was, just Infront of me and the guy told him the correct answer. They were so surprised when both of them were told to leave and that their grade would be F, they are used to getting away with things like that. It would be a miracle if you had an exam and nobody got caught cheating that's how bad it was. The way they did homework was one guy did the homework then all the others would pass around his homework assignment to copy it. Imagine having an essay as homework and you get 5 identical texts, sometimes it made me wonder if they wanted to get caught.
