You are assuming it's a protected facility. A hospital loses its status as a protected facility as soon as it is being used as a military facility by any side according to international law. If Hamas has fighters or equipment in the hospital or better yet built a tunnel connected to the hospital then it's no longer a protected facility and the IDF has no obligation to treat it as such. In legal terms as long as Israel can prove they found Hamas fighters, equipment or tunnels connected then they are all in the clear of any wrong doing, you might claim it's morally wrong but according to international law it's all in order.

@progressiveprofits9376 You really love to twist the facts don't you. The phrase was adopted by the PLO in 1964, yet somehow you claim it was created by the Likud party which has used a similar phrase but that's in 1977, more than 10 years after the phrase was adopted by the PLO. Likud said "Judea and Samaria will not be handed to any foreign administration; between the Sea and the Jordan there will only be Israeli sovereignty." in 1977. I am certain you are spreading misinformation on purpose now, a single google search is enough to find out you are just making things up as you go.

According to international law hospitals are not to be bombed or have its power shut off, however as soon as a hospital is being used as a military facility to house military personnel or equipment it loses its protection under international law and is a viable military target.

@ugcamige So we should not take what Hamas says with a grain of salt? LoL it sounds like you have your own bias there. You will probably feel better at home at Al Jazeera's YT channel.

Sending money is expensive, words are free.

@mochithepooh5368 Considering all the big donors jumping ship on UNRWA it doesn't look good for them. Money will trickle into Israel regardless but it seems like the Gaza funding is looking increasingly unsure. The last thing Hamas wants is funding to get into Gaza from aid organizations with international staff that they cannot infiltrate. Worse yet the aid comes into Gaza in the form of food water and medicine and not money, that would spell an end to Hamas' biggest income.

They are professional victims they are just trying to make the US feel guilty so they can receive a huge foreign aid payment.

@taliabraver Of course. Egypt hates the Muslim brotherhood and it's a terror org in Egypt. Hamas, in case you did not know, is a Branch of the Muslim brotherhood. The last thing Egypt wants is refugees who sympathizes with an org that they have spent decades trying to stamp out. Jordan doesn't want refugees from Palestine because they fought a bloody civil war with Palestinian refugees, they assassinated their PM and tried to assassinate the Jordanian king so they kicked them out. Kuwait kicked out all Palestinians after they sided and helped Saddam when he invaded Kuwait. Just a few examples, for most of the Arab nations it's kind of like they don't really care about Palestine but their own population would not allow them to support Israel openly so they support Palestine in words while making absolutely sure the Palestinians stay put and don't come into their country.

Because blaming America is a very convenient way for leaders and politicians to deflect blame and put focus on a foreign enemy rather than their own political mistakes. Even if the US recognized Palestine they would still find a way to put the blame on the US somehow. They are professional victims, always somebody else's fault.

Polls are polls, a good pollster would tell you depending on how you frame the question you can get a predetermined result of your poll to fit certain narratives.

@LifeMyFire If the hospital is being used as a facility to harbour insurgents it loses its protection under international law as it's now a legitimate military target.
