@wyguy1212 Maybe they can ask Hamas nicely if they can charge their phones in one of their thousands of tunnels with generators running ACs, data centres etc.

@username9615 Everyone in the region does though, even fellow Muslim countries in the region don't want Palestinians on their turf. Try going around town and be an a**hole to people see how they treat you after harassing them for a few days.

@kaoset1237 Oh, our neighbor (Norway) has a Sh*t ton of oil - they seem to be doing fine somehow, stable democracy, happy population etc. In the end I am thankful that Norway didn't get the memo that they are supposed to attack their neighbors because of oil.

@KongoKaiNi If you have to pick one it's far better to trust a nation state over a terrorist organization any day of the week.

@miles9911 Egypt provided a lot of weapons when the Muslim brotherhood were in charge. Syrians willingly let Iranian convoys drive through their territory - as does Iraq.

Usually yes, but in Gaza being a truck driver is dangerous, especially if you are not a Palestinian. I cannot blame the truck drivers for fearing for their lives, who would want to end up as a Hamas captive?

Perhaps they should stop sending aid all together since it does not meet expected standards then. I am sure there are much more deserving recipients of humanitarian aid out there.

Nope, the only resolutions passed regarding Israel's alleged "occupation" have only been non-binding resolutions. Non-binding resolutions does not enact laws they simply state the opinion of the body voting for them. All binding UN resolutions declaring Israel guilty of illegally occupying territory has been vetoed by the US and this is not looking like it will change any time soon. So no there are no such laws, the US has always vetoed such laws, don't spread misinformation.

Well you answered your own question with acknowledging Hamas is a non state actor, by definition nation state actors are not terror groups. Only non-state actors gets labeled terror orgs. If you run around chopping off heads and killing people in the name of religion and you are a non-state actor then you are going to get slapped with a terror org label. That is just definition working as intended. Your issue seems to be with the English language rather than this channel.

Well if they don't want it perhaps we could cancel the whole thing. I am sure that money and food can be spent better elsewhere.

How do you know there are no enemy combatants present? Hamas fight in civilian clothing it's impossible to tell a civilian from a Hamas combatant apart.

It would not have happened if Israel did not give away Gaza to the Palestinians to administer as they saw fit. It's unfortunate but I am sure Israel learned from their mistake.

@ihatecabbage7270 So basically the Jews did the same as the Muslims have been doing for centuries. Ever wondered why all countries in the Middle East are 99.5%+ Muslim? Yeah they drove off all religious minorities until there were only Muslims left. Now the shoe is on the other foot, am I supposed to feel bad? My European country is full of Christians that had to flee the Middle East due to persecution.

@emu071981 The fact that you are even considering Hamas, a terror org, more trustworthy than a nation state speaks miles about you as a person.

Yeah well they are one of the Veto countries and they fund 25% of the UN so it is what it is. UN is not really good for much anyway, did they stop the war in Ukraine? Sudan? Israel? Nah.
