This is a modern democracy not some Middle Eastern dictatorship, they care about their reputation and would not risk the reputation of their industry over some random Hezbollah terrorists. Taiwan has literally no interest in Hezbollah.

  8. Human nature was the same before the emergence of religions and will remain the same long before religions are gone. When religion lost its monopoly on power nationalism rose in the vacuum and we all know what happened. WW1 and WW2 had nothing to do with religion. The fact is people, that are set on destroying others and wanting for power are going to use whatever device available to gain their goals. Back in the middle ages those people would become priests, these days they become politicians. If using religion is not furthering their goals they will use nationalism or communism, whatever suits their needs.

  10. Technically Israel gave away Gaza to the Palestinians so in a sense it was theirs to give away I guess they can take it back if the current residents don't behave. Landlord coming better pay the rent or you are thrown out.
