@CulturalBolshevik There are different shades of right my friend, things are not black and white. You will find people in favour of abortion on the right and you will find people against abortion on the left. You have people from the right calling for a decrease in military spending and you have people on the left calling for an increase. Get out of your echo chamber and go out in the real world and see the full spectrum - things are a little bit more complicated than what you think. Unless of course you are colorblind in which case I apologize, it's not your fault for having a simplistic mindset about it.

@NWA744 They have developed a victim mentality over there, every time somebody dies that happens to be of a specific colour it's another reason to go on a looting spree and get some free Nike shoes.

No idea, executive order maybe but yeah I don't see how he came to that conclusion either.

I guess you mean Shenzhen surpasses HK in GDP, that is kind of obvious Shenzhen has almost double the population. When it comes to freedom of speech and rule of law Shenzhen is faaaar faaar behind HK. Shenzhen as a city is richer but it's people have a lot less freedom.

Why would Americans care about Gaza, more pressing matters at home. Plenty of wars going on in the world and suffering worse than Gaza.

@changchunyu511 I am married to a Chinese national and I am living in China. My daughter used to have a Chinese citizenship. Do you know how I use youtube? I use a VPN. Do you know one of the ONLY TWO places in China where I can surf the internet freely? I will give you a hint the first word starts with a H the second with a K (also Macau). China is a very safe country you can walk anywhere in the middle of the night without having to be afraid of getting attacked or robbed. You do however need to be very careful what you say and write online. I have many Chinese friends and when they want talk about things forbidden in China we always use Facebook even though they have wechat. You need to be very careful what you say and write in China I can give you some topics you absolutely should not write about in China. -Freedom of speech -Taiwan independence -Hong kong independence -Falun Gong -Negative things about Xi jing ping -Negative things about CCP. I always tell my foreign friends coming to China NEVER EVER write anything about freedom of speech, democracy or bad about China on Chinese social media you will get yourself into trouble - it's not worth it.

Yes and no, it is the same country but the border is very real, a mainland Chinese citizen needs permission to get into HK. A visa to China DOES NOT mean you are allowed to get into HK, you need a HK visa for that and vice versa a visa to HK does not mean you are allowed to get into China.
