  2.  @holidaywx  I do agree vaccines are good but I can totally understand people being skeptical about taking one that was developed during such a short time. Remember the swine flu vaccine that was rushed and all those kids that got narcoleptic as a side effect from getting vaccinated? You can also turn the "trust the scientist" argument around. According to the scientists unless you are above 70 with underlying diseases then the chance of you dying is pretty much the same percentage as the flu. If you are young, in good health and don't visit elderly un-vaccinated relatives then there is no shame in waiting. You cannot and should not force a vaccine being developed in such a small time frame on people, we still have no idea how effective it's going to be and how it will deal with the mutations. With the measles vaccine we already know it works and does it's job this is a totally new vaccine for a virus we don't know anything about yet. I totally respect people not wanting to be guinea pigs to see how this vaccine will pan out because it is experimental at this point, it's totally possible that a new mutation will render it useless within 6 months.
