@joeterzio7175 Why? He is simply putting his opinion out there on Twitter like everyone else. He does not work for anyone he is running his own teleprompter so what are they going to do, hey you are not allowed to express yourself on a free platform? If he would be on a contract with a producer having a huge team working with him sure I could see it but just putting out videos by himself on Twitter? No way they have a legal case he is not working for anyone he is just putting his personal opinion out there just like you and me.

@jonathanjacob5453 With 100 million views? I am pretty sure he's got a better shot getting access to them than he would on Fox. The guy is beating out CNN, MSNBC AND Fox COMBINED by himself LOL. Who is not going to want to be portrayed in a positive light on the biggest platform in America?

His contract states he cannot work for anyone else for 18 months, putting out videos you made yourself on Twitter does not count as working for another company though. The guy does it all by himself, no team, no producers. There's nothing Fox can do. If Tucker would takes in sponsors and accept money for what he does then yes they would have a case, he's smart enough to not do it though.

@eemoogee160 Nah, companies cannot ignore the first amendment. They can prohibit speech regarding certain topics about the company but they cannot outright force an individual to just shut up completely. He probably cannot divulge too much about the legal details about Fox's legal cases and divulge information about how the company works but he is totally free to voice his opinions about things such as the Ukraine war because this has nothing to do with Fox News. TLDR there is a thing called the first amendment, it's a real thing companies have to abide by, they can restrict some speech about their company but they cannot completely shut down an individual's right to express themselves about topics that's got nothing to do with the company.

@Independent365 I am pretty sure his contract does NOT say, "You shall not express your opinion about Ukraine".

@ricinro You would be correct if he was working for twitter and getting paid. If he is not getting paid then there is no breach of the contract. I will give you an example, for my job (like most jobs) I have a clause that I am not allowed to take any part time work for ANY other employer while I am under contract. Do you think my employer can go and say OH you posted a video on twitter talking about your personal opinion, you breached our contract? That's not how posting on Twitter works. If you or me post on twitter it does not mean we now work for Twitter, when you make an account and sign up to Twitter you do not automatically become a Twitter employee. As long as Tucker has no sponsor and no producer and does not accept any money for his twitter videos then he is completely safe as he is just expressing his opinion on a free platform just like you and me. You cannot claim he is working for Twitter simply for posting a video. The minute he gets a producer/sponsor or accepts money then he has breached the contract. Until then he's in the clear.

@ua697 Check how many views Tucker got, then check how many viewers Fox News lost when they sacked him. It will make sense.

With more views than CNN, MSNBC and FOX combined LOL. Imagine sitting by yourself in your basement outcompeting networks with hundreds of staff and millions in running cost. Ouch. Losers.

Officially he is just expressing his opinion on twitter, there are no producers and no sponsors. He is not getting paid, he is just voicing his opinions.
