  3. Like he said in underdeveloped countries yes, as soon as education is provided people leave the religion. I guess its saving grace is that the Middle East will always be underdeveloped.

  6. Personally I don't care if Islam is thriving in the Middle East, let them. As long as it is not where I live I am content with letting them have their fun down there. I just wish they kept their religious conflicts and hate there not exporting it to the West.

  7. Yeah, what do you know. Only one place in my country (Northern Europe) we have armed guards. Synagogues, no armed guards needed at the Churches or the Mosques. Why? Well because a certain group that hate jews are violent and the other groups are not really violent. Never had this problem until we got immigrants from the Middle East. Also have to add we did not have this problem with our educated immigration from this region, just now we have uneducated immigration. Lack of education and religious extremism goes hand in hand.

  9. Disagree, you can combine religion and science, otherwise how are there so many Muslim or Christian scientists? Sure there are some leaders that use religion to suppress science to their own gains but that does not make it impossible to combine the two.
