And now instead they have starvation

The UK did not like Rhodesia though and had no troops or influence over what happened there.

@mohahisham2584 Oh so the insurgents consisting of mainly terrorists from outside Iraq applied for citizenship before traveling there to fight the Americans? Most of them were from regions like Chechnya, it's a holy war for them not a nation defending affair they couldn't care less about locations or civilians killing "infidels" is all they care about.

Both sides can trace back land ownership, there are plenty of other peoples that can make claims too. That area has been owned by many different empires and peoples over the span of history. While land ownership and rights is interesting from a historical standpoint it's utterly irrelevant in the real world. Israel has the stronger army, stronger economy and more powerful friends. You can try and trace back 100000 years in history all you want, it won't change anything these factors are the only relevant ones. Besides claiming all Jews in Israel are European is just plainly false. 40% of the Israeli population are Mizrahi Jews, Mizrahi Jews are descended from Jews in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia and parts of the Caucasus, who had lived for many generations under Muslim rule during the Middle Ages.

Its hard to turn a blind eye to how Zimbawe turned out and ask yourself how You can turn Africa's breadbasket into starvation.

Yes you bring up interesting points, democracy needs an economic base and infrastructure that most African countries do not have. It doesn't help when a large portion of the population is illiterate.

So it is not a hostile environment when your neighbors gang up to invade you multiple times 6 vs 1? I'd hate to see a "real" hostile environment then if this is a peaceful environment. Yeah I mean they only fired 300 rockets at us today, it's not like last week's 10000. Sure is peaceful today. Said no Israeli, ever. lol

@anon-yd2gh Genetics? History? Israel is has the most powerful military in the area, they also have the world's most powerful nation as its ally. History and genetics matters little, if you want to hold on to land ownership you need military force to back your claims up. If those claims are strong, rooted in history, genetics, weak, non existent it doesn't matter. I am not trying to be mean that's just how it is.

They are Arabs though lol.

Borders can always be redrawn it's not like the British are the only ones capable of drawing lines on a map.

I agree that Japan has a lot more than apologizing to do but about brainwashing and white washing your history is something everybody does, Japan, America, China, Russia... that's just how it works. Most Chinese people under 30 have no idea what happened at Tiananmen square in 1989 for example. You will find corrupt and bad people at the top of most governments Japan is not alone in this regard.

@karlsendas8806 You mean the guy that died more than 40 years before the actual creation of the state of Israel which came about when the British gave the Jews the territory they took from the Ottoman empire? Doesn't sound like colonization to me it sounds like the landowners at that time (the British) gave them the land quite willingly. Who would the natives of that land be? The Ottomans? The Mamluks? Perhaps the Christian kingdoms? The Romans? The Ancient Egyptians? The Assyrians? The Kingdom of Judea? That piece of land changed ownership so frequent there are plenty that can claim to be natives.

@stray8468 "your opinion is not allowed only my opinion is real, shut up".

The same Gaza that they used to own and gave away to the Palestinians? That Gaza? Yes giving it away was probably a mistake one they have to pay for now, I don't think they will claim Gaza it's pretty much worthless, it's being held alive by billions in foreign aid money it cannot sustain itself. I think they are going to make it smaller and set up a no-mans land occupied by international UN peacekeepers between Israel and Gaza.

@antoinemozart243 Of course the Finns surrendered when they realized the Germans got beat, such a small country couldn't hope to compete with all of the allies, you seem to forget that the Soviets relied heavily on the supplies from the US in particular to build up their industry there's just no way Finland could ever hope to stand against the UK the US and the USSR without Germany.

@stray8468 Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, I don't agree with your take I think history shows otherwise but hey you are free to have that opinion.

Yep they killed and drove all the white landowners off and gave the farmland to their friends that knew nothing about farming. You'd figure farming is not that hard but I guess apperatly it is because like you said, the breadbasket turned into starvation somehow.

@Shehroze15 Technically it was part of the Ottoman Empire and was then taken over by the British before it was handed over to Israel.
1
Well you can call the whites evil and racists which in some cases they were.. they knew how to govern though.
