Yep, well the movie is a dream for the CCP government of China it has clearly been adapted to fit the CCP narrative and abide by the strict censorship in place over there so obviously the 50 cent army is doing everything they can to promote this. They want every movie to be like this.

CK Lim No it is NOT normal to thank authorities involved in human rights abuses man this is an American company human rights are very important outside China. Making the movie in Xinjiang was a huuuuge mistake they will lose a lot of money over it they might even go to the courts for it. I don't think you understand what a big problem this has become for them. The movie is PG 13 it is not a movie for children. After having read your comment I have a suspicion that you are Chinese so I won't bring up why the CCP choosing the script and actress is a problem for westerners. I spent 6 years in China myself and my daughter came home from the Chinese kindergarten reciting CCP propaganda a few times so I know it's something Chinese people are used to since they are born. I totally don't mind if the CCP decides everything for the Chinese market, I have been there making sure movies doesn't disrupt social harmony is very important for the CCP. I just can't believe Disney thought a CCP co-operation would work outside China. They better hope they make a lot of money in China they won't make much outside China.

Yep, and Israel is very thankful for that aid, meanwhile the population in the other countries getting US aid chants death to America on a daily basis.

@akashir5580 Dont be silly that part of the world have been backwards for more than 400 years, long before the US and Israel even existed. They used to be one of the most advanced civilizations around in the 1500s under the Ottomans that could take on several European powers at the same time. They declined in the 1600s though and the area has been backwards and poor ever since.

Disney shared the script with Chinese authorities and consulted them before starting to record the film. 2.) THe 1998 cartoon was a big flop in China part of the reason was it had the western value of personal transformation above Chinese priorities such as family commitments.This time around family and community is at the films absolute center. 3.) Disney had a chinese test audience for this movie giving input, they did not like a climactic kiss between Mulan and her love interest in the movie and it was removed. (just like Titanic edited out all love scenes for the Chinese airing) 4.) The movie has 0 blood and gore or intimate scenes which magically align it with the CCP censorship for movies what a coincidence. 5.) Disney chose a big pro CCP Chinese household name to be the lead actress (they even waited 2 years for her). 6.) In the end credits the movie is thanking several Chinese authorities, some of which are involved in monitoring the Muslim concentration camps in Xinjiang. So yeah the CCP loves this and want to make this the golden standard. You make a movie well send the script to the Chinese authorities, pick an actor that the CCP likes. Promote Chinese values and abide to CCP movie censorships. The CCP were sitting editing the script and holding the reigns throughout the whole production. And Disney even going so far as to work with concentration camps. That is why I said the CCP want every movie to go down this path.

I think he just said what most people are thinking, most are clever enough not to say it in front of thousands of people though. If he made the same comment about the civil war in Burma nobody would have given an F. The left loves Palestine though so you can't say anything negative about them. TLDR he is a public figure and this is the one conflict you are not allowed to speak your mind about if it's contrary to the political correct one, he made a mistake and there will be consequences obviously. I feel bad for him but I mean if you are a public figure you need to be more careful of what you say about political sensitive topics.

He take frequent breaks, a 14 day hiatus is not really a big deal for his audience, they are used to it. Besides not like there are not plenty of streaming alternatives out there anyway if he wanted to stream anyway.

not really, I am from a western country. Pretty peaceful, police dont even carry guns most of the time. Still need armed guards outside the synagogues, no guards needed outside Mosques. one group is clearly more violent than the other. When is the last time you read about a Jewish terrorist attack in the west? Say what you want of Israel, at least they dont bring their conflicts with them when they move to other countries.

@miguelmontenegro3520 Fortunately for India China has no friends except maybe North Korea while India has close ties to the 5 eyes countries and have close ties to Russia. Geography might be bad but Chinese foreign policy has ensured that it can not rely on anyone to join a conflict they started. India on the other hand would not have any trouble finding allies against China.

@miguelmontenegro3520 Okay, and even if what you say is true India has military co-op with Australia, Russia, US, Turkey, Japan, S. Korea and America. I don't know about you but I would feel safer with a military co-op with some of the strongest military powers in the world than I would with an economic co-op with some small timers in times of war. China cannot declare war on India as they would lose horribly due to India's allies aiding them in a defensive war, both sides know this. India on the other hand would have nothing to gain from an aggressive war with China. Australia, US and India has only became closer allies since the US-China trade war and China's own Trade war vs Australia. India is gaining friends and more businesses are moving out of China to other countries. China is not in any way shape or form ready for a large scale conflict with India and it's allies at this point in time.

@miguelmontenegro3520 Yeah but my point is China would never stage an attack on India like that. There is no way they can sustain themselves against the US and Australian naval response. I think you really overestimate the China's military capability. They have been trying to and preparing to take the small Island nation of Taiwan for 50 years now with little success. They lack the ability to take a small Island how would they even take on a huge nation like India that is allied to the major military powers? There simply is no reason for a large scale conflict for them. If they have any aggressive wars it's going to be for Taiwan. They have absolutely nothing to gain having a full blown war against India and their western allies. Taiwan is and has always been the number one priority for the Chinese military.

@miguelmontenegro3520 First off war is very unlikely, when is the last time somebody tried to invade a country with nuclear weapons? Secondly if China thought they could beat back US and it's Asian allies they would have done so long ago. China has a huge army but they lack the naval and air capability to actually win a confrontation. Wars are not decided by infantry anymore this is 2020 not 1917. Just ask the Arab countries how they can outnumber and surround their arch enemy Israel and still get totally annihilated by Israeli air superiority within days.
