  2. Because those are well documented events that happened hundreds of years ago that has been talked and written about for years and years and years. There are tens of thousands of books and research into that area. The rise of China is a current day phenomenon and rehashing 400 year old history every week is not going to generate a lot of interest. There are plenty of shows and books about that already. China generates more interest as it's a current issue that people are interested in.

  4. Nah Mexico and Vietnam is where it's happening right now. Even Chinese companies are moving their factories to Vietnam these days.

  5. Might be you are right, there are also critics that says their numbers are highly inflated and over exaggerated. As an outsider it's impossible to know, only the government elites in China know for sure.
