@guangyazhu7272 They ban it because it's associated with the poor countryside it's bad for the "city's image", in China the people that use motorcycles get them because they cannot afford a car. To me it sounds like he understood China completely, it's greaaaat when you are young and you want a short adventure, it is all new and exciting. It is not however a good place to settle down as a foreigner, you will not get a green card even being married to a Chinese citizen - not having a Chinese ID card will severely limit what you can do. And let's not mention having a kid with the milk powder scandal, the fake vaccines, child abductions, no freedom of speech... honestly if you are American why would you want to bring your child up in an unsafe environment when you have a choice. Even Chinese parents that can afford it will give birth in America for a reason.

@eamonncarmel99 If it was solely to keep the air clean then they would allow the environmental friendly motorcycles instead they banned all, both the dirty ones and the clean ones. In the end you only end up with more cars on the road by banning alternative ways of transport and cars are way worse for the air.

@eamonncarmel99 You mean those little e-bikes capped at 20 km/h with a 30km battery life? I can't see how they would fulfill the needs of the people using the motorcycles in the first place, they would most likely just get a car you can't get very far on those small bikes.

@edisonme6598 Welcome to the world of youtube where you can write bad things about China and the CCP without getting censored and all comments deleted. You should be used to it anti-ccp sentiment has never been as bad as it is now. The CCP censorship has around 35 000 words and combinations of words people use to make fun of Xi JinPing online on their list of censored words. If you can't handle people saying bad things about the CCP or China then youtube is not for you. You should try Youku and other Chinese social media out, they will delete and censor all those comments. Just be careful what you write, I seem to remember a certain doctor Li Wenliang trying to warn his friends of the new Coronavirus and he got a visit by the police for his kindness.

@edisonme6598 Again all you do is make stuff up. The deputy director of the Chinese ministry of foreign affairs Zhao Lijian (赵立坚) has said that the US army brought the virus to China and Xinhua news, China daily and global times have run news segment about it. "US military victim or spreader of virus? " By Liu Xuanzun Source:Global Times Published: 2020/4/26 20:28:40 there you go took me 10 seconds on google to expose one of your lies again. This news outlet is owned by the Chinese state so basically this is the CCP claiming the virus is spread by US troops. Stop putting words into my mouth I don't speak ill of China I put the blame on the CCP the Chinese people have nothing to do with this. I have many Chinese friends, Chinese people are very warm hearted and kind. I like China, I like Chinese people, I don't like the CCP - very simple.

@edisonme6598 That is the CCP narrative that China, the Chinese people and the CCP are the same. In reality that is not true, I don't like Trump so does this mean I don't like Americans and the US? Of course not. The CCP is a political party, nothing more, nothing less just like Trump is just a republican he is not USA and he is not Americans. 90 million CCP members is not really that impressive considering it is the only party in a 1.4 billion country that is allowed and being a member of the party is a MUST if you want to run a successful company or be active in politics. Among some places I have been in China is Yunnan province and Kanton province and I can tell you that those guys don't really like the CCP. If I would tell those people that CCP and China is the same they would be very angry and disagree with me. The Chinese people benefit from the CCP rule and therefore anything bad about CCP is bad about Chinese people? Now I know you are a wumao for sure, that is not true you are just repeating CCP propaganda LOL. I am nice so I will teach you, China is a country, Chinese are the inhabitants of the country China. CCP IS A POLITICAL PARTY that is currently ruling China. A political party can not be a country and it cannot be it's inhabitants. A political party is a political party it is not a living thing.

@edisonme6598 Well it's not like Chinese people have a choice anyway.

@zscar3425 Public transportation huh... have you ever tried Chinese public transportation outside a major city like Beijing or Shanghai? You do realize that most cities in China does not have a subway system and a very poor bus network? In China if money is not a problem then you will get a SUV or a foreign brand car, if you can't afford that you get a Chinese brand car. If that is too much for you then you take a didi. No money for Didi? then it's a motorcycle or E-bike. Finally if you can't afford any of those above then you will be on the shitty public transportation. But yeah what do I know I have only lived in China for 6 years I am sure a Chinese man can easily get a good wife without an apartment and a car... oh wait...!

@edisonme6598 Yeah well it goes both ways I have spent 6 years in China and I have heard and seen so much misinformation from the Chinese state run media. Just a small example is the Coronavirus, first they said it's originally from Italy, then France and now it's the American military/Cia that planted it in China apparently. I am sorry to say but China does not have many friends left, especially in the western world these days. You won't get much sympathy on youtube if you try to defend the CCP after all that they have done.
