@fmls8266 Once you actually spend some time in China living there not just travelling around like a tourist you will soon realize that the danger is not about getting robbed on the street it's about all the goddamn forbidden topics you are not allowed to write or talk about. Go on a street in China and say Xijinping is an idiot or write free hk on Chinese social media and see how long until the police comes by. All in all it's just about self-censorship if you stick to hanging out with westerners and stay clear off Chinese social media you will be fine.

Martin Purcell That is just stupid even if you were correct in western societies you have ALL the information readily available for you, nothing is censored. You can go on google and make your own mind up you have so many alternative sources of information other than the government. In China you only have ONE source of information and if you dare to investigate or even worse tell others it's not correct then you will have police at your door. it is not the same, there is a big difference between an oppressive one party state and a democracy. I don't know where you are from but in the schools here you will never pass political science class if you can't tell the difference between a dictatorship and a democracy.

@AngelosGT No, the problem is that such horrible things would not be surprising at all if they would happen to be true. Nothing surprises you about China these days anymore. The organ harvest thing is most likely true but if it's specifically Falun Gong supporters or not is hard to say there is ZERO Transparency in China. Does it matter though? I mean just harvesting organs from people is just horrible as it is, the CCP is certainly not winning any prices for good behavior that is for sure.
