  1.  @srinivasanrajagopal9062  Yes, and it's in Sweden's and Finland's best interest to join NATO to protect themselves from a warmongering neighbour that constantly threatens them. Sounds pretty reasonable to me.

  2.  @erosgritti5171  They survived, the Russians wanted to replace the Finish government with a communist one but Finland fought them back and managed to defend their independence. Sure they lost some territory but they remained an independent nation against all odds - sounds like a victory to me.

  4. Not really, Putin is aggressive but he knows the minute he starts fingering on that nuke button he will have hundreds of them raining down all over Russia and at that point it's over.

  6. @TriVos Ahren NATO is a defensive alliance, if NATO countries had a problem with the US putting troops on their territory then why are nations bordering Russia begging the US to post more troops on their borders?

  7. Considering almost 70% of the public is for NATO and that these soldiers have been conducting military operations with NATO for a long time I'd say the majority of them should be for it.
