They are just low level grunts coerced into doing the Hamas leadership's bidding they hold no important information - just cannon fodder. It's unfortunate they realized they have been used all this time when it's too late for them. They will probably spend a life time in prison, I suppose they will be treated better in an Israeli prison than they were in Gaza but still.

@Freedom_for_Palestina Okay, so why do they throw rocks abroad on the policemen and women of other countries during their pro-Palestine demonstrations? Why did they assassinate the Jordanian PM and tried to assassinate their king? Did Jordan also occupy and oppress them? According to a Danish study 64% of Palestinians that arrived in 1992 have a criminal record. Did the Danish people oppress them too? The US and Soviet occupied Germany for decades after WW2, Germans did not throw rocks or turn to terrorism they were peaceful and eventually they got their freedom back.

It's probably half truth and half them trying to play a long hoping for leniency in the punishment they will receive if they co-operate.

Well that's totally up to you if you choose to believe them or not. I am pretty sure they are well aware that some people won't believe them even if they were shown irrefutable proof. The hatred of Jews are strong in some parts of the world.
