  1.  @vitluk  frankly, its not the same. vim and vi are on almost every machine, i can ssh into a server and it doesnt matter if i dont have install permissions, it has what i need. i use vim/vi with nearly no config at all, my .vimrc is less than 30 lines. helix is a bunch of bloated crap i never wanted, that doesnt run in the places i need it to anyway lol.
