  1. That happened to me as a baby and even as a small child at 5 or 7. I can home from school and cried for a week straight until bed neither parents came into my room for 5 days to asks me what was wrong. By then it was too late I was emotionally numb and unable to express how I was feeling. I shut down emotionally for quite a few years after that.

  2. I am obsessed with motors as well. My grandpa had many of them in his barn and I loved looking at them . When my parents were getting divorced I just became and adult. My dad got rid of an an outboard motor I was using to hide assets from my mom. I became obsessed since then buying and fixing up motors. I hated the feeling of having my motor (power) taken away from me. I compulsively have been learning about them Since so I never have to rely on others to do anything with my motors. I am almost paranoid my motors are going to be all taken from me at once because of how abusive my dad was when he took the outboard motor among many other acts of violence he did over time
