If they went straight to a PET scan they could tell what was wrong within a week jnstead of gaslighting patients telling them theyre too young, its in your head. Just stress

@deirdrekiely6187 yes because it proves them wrong and their misdiagnosis right away and gives them no chance to gaslight you and cover it up while you slowly suffer and heal while they tell you it's in your head

@deirdrekiely6187 I had a pet scan right away and it showed I had tuberculosis that spread everywhere all over my lymph nodes from my jaw bone to sinus to lungs. Everywhere they covered up the pet scan results

@PrettyKittyfebruary10 no lol because it proves them wrong. I'm paying privately and my docotor is still refusing to refer me for a PET scan. It's my last step before I sue because it will prove all my suffering

@cintilancia absolutely insane considering someone could be dead from an infection or cancer within 8 weeks. And it usually takes that long for referrals to multiple scans and biopsies

@kiwipics pet/ct is the best diagnostic tool invented besides our two eyes seeing a gaping wound. If I went straight to a pet ct I would have avoided literally I kid you not 12 x ray- 5 cts-2 with contrast 3 without. And one mri.... what finally found it all and the extent of My mycobacterial infection was a pet/ct.

@powerofloveism unfortunately docotors are docotors first especially specialists who work more than their home life or hobbies they are essentially public servants for the most part

@ApostleOfZeus no its an outdated protocol of slowly ramping up the scans. Alot of places in the world don't even have pet scans available locally. They go from x ray to CT to CT with contrast to mri to pet scan usually.....it's a joke if it's really about conserving resources they would go to the most diagnostically accurate for any metabolically active disease that's not an obvious laceration or fracture

@cintilancia are you that detached from reality. Lymphoma and lung cancer one of the most common alot of times doesn't show up on xray or CT untill advances stages. Meanwhile wait and see while it grows then slowly advance to the most diagnostically accurate scan for metabolic diseases???? Pet scan literally in less than 2 hours can reduce the differential diagnoses to less than 3 in no time. Quit parroting and old outdated medical systems protocol. Medical companies makes no money when cancer is stage one compared to stage 4............it can go from 1-4 in less than a month of delayed treatment

@cintilancia you are either in a drug induced ignorance or willfully gaslighting us patients more like a doctor would. Because its coming from a place of repetition rather than logic... I just said the other scans they use first fail to detect many diseases. Meanwhile gaslighting the patient telling them they are fine while the cancer or infection spreads.............do you not understand. Treatment can begin right away for infections same with cancer. Two most common causes of death and your suggesting we delay potential streamlining a diagnosis and beginning treatment, why exactly???? Lmao because we don't know what's exactly is wrong.....well that's a whole lot better than the docotrs and patient believing everything is normal or okay!? How do you not side with the patient in this case? Are you educated in the medical field?

@kiwipics it would have saved me the equivalent of 2 other pet scans avoiding all the other cts and x rays if I went straight to pet ct not even talking about all the suffering I could gave avoided over the last 2 years.....

@kiwipics not true about overflowing the pet scanners and radiologists. Because xray are still the best for obvious broken bones and mris are great for mapping the brain in detail

@kiwipics staging tool?? Wtf ya right. PeT CTs are literally just a ct scan with a radioactive contrast dye. Ct scans are used as a diagnostic tool for so many injuries and diseases.....not for staging holy st

They purposefully misdiagnose cancer untill its stage 3 they dont make any money stage 1 its and easy surgey and quick chemo
