Florida attracts people who seem to only care about avoiding income taxes. Not real estate taxes because they can be pretty steep in communities that offer strong fire, police and other services. People move their and besides the weather they always say "No state income tax". No one wants to pay too much in tax but someone has to pay for roads, bridges, police etc. But for some, it's all they care about. Did Hitler tell people he was lowering their taxes? Is that all it takes to get people to disregard any other moral considerations? Ironically oftern when I ask these people how much they paid last year they don't know. They only know whether they got a refund, wwich is up to them and their withholdings. Meanwhile the property taxes are killing them and that has nothing to do with federal income tax.
