  1. Miami and other parts of Florida reflect a migration from the north, primarily NY and NJ. But I know many of these people. They buy a condo in Florida and claim it as their primary residence to (illegally) avoid paying NYS/NYC income tax. They still spend most their time up north but take weekends and vacation time in the Florida condos. Look for NY license plates.
