  1. Like Trump, Bush cut taxes for the rich. In both cases a Recession followed where those dollars were needed to support the economy. That's why we have a huge national debt.

  2. The US had the highest tax rates ever under Republican Pres. Eisenhower. Up to 95% for the richest. The economy had a historic boom. Low taxes do not make a strong economy.
