On April 16, 2016, New York State held the Republican primary election, which Trump won over Kasich and Cruz. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner did not vote for Daddy in the election. They were still registered Democrats. I guess they didn't bother to change their registrations because either they thought Daddy had no chance or they didn't want him to win. In fact Kushner owned The New York Observer, a weekly newspaper more liberal than the New York Times and The Observer declined to "endorse" Daddy in the election. In 2017 Ivanka and Jared became Republicans.
