"Gluten free" has become so profitable it may never go away, even though there is no scientific proof that a gluten free diet is necessary or even recommended except for the less than 5% with celiac disease. The "more energy" and "less bloating" have been shown in blind tests to be pure psychosomatic.

  6. Instagram is full of them. We are still being bamboozled by the "gluten free" nonsense that has become an unstoppable multibillion dollar business. Consumer Reports had a story years ago about double blind tests that showed that all the relief from "bloating" etc. from a "gluten free diet" were purely in the mind.
