Problem in that when the Town of Palm Beach approved the use of the property as a licensed "Club" it prohibited its use as a residence and specifically stated that Donald Trump could not live there. This came out when the Club tried to get a permit to put in a dock on the lake side, Local residents research the enabling Town order for the Club and found that Trump is violating it by living on premises on weekends. Trump withdrew the dock application. He could buy a condo or house nearby to satisfy the voting residence requirement, but he is too cheap and likes the ego gratification of living at this storied and splendid looking Club.
