It's not even a house. The deed does not permit it to be used as a private residence. Trump lives there, in an apartment, only because he swore to the Town that he was a "club employee acting as the full-time on premises property manager" a/k/a the "super". So would you pay $1.5B for an apartment under the flight path of an international airport where you had to serve as the "property manager" and strangers could swim in your pool and eat in your dining room? Who? No one with a brain. Trump didn't pay very much (by Palm Beach standards) and he is now stuck with an unsellable White Elephant. The restrictions that require the property to be used solely as a commerical club facility are permanent. You can't change the deed or pay your way out.

@ekay9783 They are there but sometimes it's deafening and you need to pause the conversation. It will rattle glasses on the table. I have obviously been there. It's also true of the homes just north of MAL.
