  2. Cohen grew up in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, famous for its Russian/Ukrainian community. HQ pf the US Russian mob. He grew up with guys who became Russian mobsters. He introduced one man (Michaels' childhood friend) to Trump who said he could get financing. The guy had been barred by the SEC for secutities fraud and I believe at a later date was accused of or convicted of murder. The gave him a Trump Org business card and made him part of the company. They worked on Russian financing of a "Trump Soho Hotel". Trump would be the front man, Russian money would be "laundered". The deal collapsed. This was well before the Presidency.
