sp he bragged about the high value of his assets. He had Lawrence Moens, his friend tetify that MAL was worth a fortune. So how come he can't use any of these "highly valued" assets as collateral for a bond? Because they are not worth a fraction of what he says. MAL is a commercial property. Woiuld anyone pay more than $18M for a property that can only be used as a club, basically a restaurant?

@josehernandez-zamora2141 No comparison. Because you can't compare a private home with a commercial property. No one can in in MAR as a private home. Trump lives in an apartment because he swore to the Town of Palm Beach that he was the "live-in property manger and an employee of the club business". Trump signed away the right to use this property as a private residence when he accepted millions in tax breaks from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The deed, which cannot be amended, restricts use of the property to "club facility". Your comparison property for $16M is not rewuired to make its swimming pool awailable to strangers, like Trump does.
