  3. @Rainlance All of the hedge funds are not losing money on GME. Many are doing the same as the Reddit group, they are long. Most Americans have an interest in the market through retirement funds. Their municipalities have investments in the market too and that affects local taxes, like real estate taxes. If you town gets hurt in the market it will have to make up the difference probably by raising taxes on your home, if you own one.

  4. Take your profits. The market has always punished being too greedy. The shorts can afford to hold until the company goes into Chapter 7. They just need to put up the margin money, and they have deep deep pockets to do so.
