  2. He used racism by marketing himself as the "birther" candidate. He conned people with the "successful businessman" lie. Some Republicans will vote for a brick if that's on the Red ticket. Other greedy Republican leaders thought they could use this dolt Trump for their purposes. The old guard German politicians thought Hitler was a joke who could be manipulated to their ends. They were all executed.
