  5. John Lennon never "owned" this apartment. It was a rental until 1987 and he died in 1980. He and Ono might have rented it for a while but this is a five building coop complex and the penthouse owners of all five buildings all claim that Lennon lived in theirs. He probably rented the larger unit on 51 St. if any.

  10. These apartments have maids' residences off of the lobby area. The rooms are narrow and long, and have a sink. The toilet and bathtub are in a separate Men's/Ladies' restrooms, shared by the staff.
