  1. In 2018, Trump visited the American French Embassy in Paris. He "looted" the home of the Ambassador or various statues and paintings, which he said should be displayed in the Oval Office. He was later told that they were government property, but all copies. He found out that the original of the Benjamin Franklin portrait, painted by artist Joseph Siffred Duplessis in France in 1785, had already been hanging in the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. just a mile away from the White House. The original was later transferred to the White House to hang in the Oval Office, rather than the copy that Trump brought back from France. The copy is now substituting for the original in the National Gallery. Do you think Trump will return the original to the National Gallery or take the original home and, if caught, claim he thought it was only a copy? The National Gallery better be on top of this.
